FRIENDS GO DIGITAL
The Friends are now sending a digital monthly newsletter. Give us a call or send an email if you would like to receive our digital newsletter. Paper copy delivery of the Library's Check It Out newsletter is a Friends membership perk only. If you are interested in receiving that newsletter, you can sign up to receive it digitally on the Library website or become a Friends member to receive it in the mail.

NEW EXTENDED USED BOOK SALE HOURS
The Friends will be trying out longer shopping hours for the Summer Used Book Sale; the sale will open at 9am on Saturday, and the Bag Sale will begin at 11am on Sunday. Don't forget that used books at great prices are available every day in the Friends Used Book Store (inside Lindley Perk)!

WHAT IS FRIENDS FUNDING USED FOR?
Thanks to the generous support of Friends members and Used Book Sale patrons, the Friends have funded over $30,000 for Library programs and purchases for 2013!
Items include:

  • MOST WANTED collection, popular books for instant checkout
  • Book Club Kits and Library Book Club programs
  • Children’s Summer Reading Program
  • New Library books, CDs and DVDs
  • Children’s programs such as Books & Babies and Family Science Night
  • Mobile Web App for Library website
